Nutritious to Delicious: Poached Winter Fruits
Cold winter days call for nourishing bowls of warm poached fruits, and this recipe from Zoe Bingley-Pullin is perfect for keeping the chill at bay.
Ingredients
- 2 pears, cut into quarters
- 1 punnet fresh (or frozen) blackberries
- 1 punnet fresh (or frozen) raspberries
- 1 orange zested and juiced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- 4 tbs honey
- 2 cups water
To serve

Method
Step 1.
In a large saucepan, place the pears, berries, orange juice and zest, cinnamon, ginger, honey, and water.
Step 2.
Bring to the boil and turn down the heat to a gentle simmer for approximately 20 minutes or until the pears are tender.
Step 3.
To serve, place fruit into 4 bowls and top each with 100 grams Greek yoghurt, 1 tablespoon LSA mix and a sprinkle of coconut chips.
