Protein smoothie with walnuts and berries
This tasty nutrient-packed smoothie is a great option for breakfast on the go. And because it’s high in protein, it will help keep you feeling full for longer.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 5 tbsp lime juice
- 400 g frozen mixed berries
- 600 ml almond milk
- 100 g vegan protein powder
- 30 g walnuts
- 2 tbsp linseeds
- mineral water; to taste

Method
Step 1. Peel and slice the banana.
Step 2. Purée in a blender with the lime juice, frozen berries, almond milk, protein powder, walnuts and flax seeds until smooth.
Step 3. Dilute with mineral water if desired, then pour into 4 glasses (350-400 ml), stir well and serve with a re-useable straw.
